My deepest sympathy is extended to you at this very difficult time. I have fond memories of your Dad and Mom and was saddened to hear of their passing. As a family, we would often run into your parents at the Aberdeen Mall- always willing to share a laugh and a story. As a kid, I can recall your dad working on the town trucks and always having the time to say hello, smiling as he did so.

Beloved, I am so sorry I cannot be with you today. Please accept my sincere condolences in your loss. "Aunt Minty", as I came to call her, was a dear soul. I will always remember her very fervent prayers for me and my family. She was indeed a prayer warrior! And not a half-bad cook, either. The coconut cream pies she made were like none other! Bro. Charles was a steadfast servant of God who worked until he could do it no longer. His long service as an usher and his work at the soup kitchen were only a glimpse of his immense heart for people. Together they greeted people entering to worship with the grace and love of Holy Spirit. They were united in life and it seems fitting that they would be united in death. The word of God says in Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints." These two were God's own precious possessions and are at final rest with Him. May this truth comfort you and bring you peace. Rev. Rhonda Y. Britton Senior Pastor, Cornwallis Street Baptist Church, Halifax
