Hello family/friends of Russell (we at Alcare Place endearingly knew him as "Rusty")...I crossed paths with Rusty for a brief time. What I have read here simply confirms my observation of him - that being sincerity and character - I am deeply saddned by this news. Please accept my condolences as I can only imagine how much Rusty meant to all of you..."Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your son Cheryl. Your husband and my brother Billy Eisnor were best pals for many years. I remember one year Billy was home from Ontario and when we drove into your yard and your boys were so excited to see my brother. May he Rest In Peace now that he is reunited with his dad and his Nanny Theresa. I’m sure my brother Bill will have many jokes for him up there. My deepest condolences.

Russell was the only Paul bearer at my baby girls funeral. We haven’t spent any time together in recent years but will always remember him with an extremely kind and gentle soul. I’m glad we got back in touch for a brief moment recently. My love to all of his family, I will be thinking of you these coming days.

Russell Although your time on this earth was short, your sweet kind ways will never be forgotten. You will leave a void in our lives, but your life will never be forgotten. May angels attend your mother Cheryl and sister Lisa and Brother Billy, Karen the mother of your children Mellissa and Daniel, and step children Rodney and Blaine. Remember to play a few tunes in heaven with your dad and grandpa Willard, (Bill), say hello to our loved Ones. Nanny Leblanc and Sharon and Jerry. May you soar in the heavens on the wings of an eagle watching over us, send us a little sign to let us know you are here. We love you and we will miss you. Take care and we will continue to make memories till we meet again. Love you honey

My heartfelt condolence is with you Cheryl, Lisa , Billy and family. I first met Russell back in the summer of 1986 at a gathering in Pictou Landing. He has always remained a special friend to me. Russell and I reminisced this past fall during our visit together. He spoke of his fond memories during our teenage years and just how much his big brother Billy meant to him. We laughed at all the fun experiences we all had together. "The years were good" he said. He spoke lovingly of his mom Cheryl and his father Bill, how his sister Lisa was always there for him and his special relationship with Billy. Russell thought of Billy as more than just a brother. He had such a vivid memory of our younger years and all the stories that followed. I left that visit feeling truly blessed to have had this wonderful man I call friend for so many years. Thank you LeBlanc family for welcoming me into your family all those years ago and to you Russell ... you will live on in my heart.
