The Stewart Family
On behalf of the family please accept our most heartfelt condolences on Brians' passing.
I can still remember the day that he had his terrifying accident not that far from his home. A large part of the Ashdale/Antigonish community. He will be remembered.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To Eleanor & Family and Siblings (families):
My sincerest condolences to all of you on Brian's passing. My memories are from years ago. At that time when Brian's name was spoken it no doubt was always followed by Jerome. My mother, Margie would say Uncle Hughie & Aunt Catherine's youngest sons. And from reading Brian's beautiful obituary which told so much about his spirit, heart and temperament I think Mum would be smiling but not surprised as many qualities reflected his wonderful parents too. Thinking of you. Theresa

Sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. Always enjoyed our conversations from religion to politics. he was a man that never minced words he said what he believed . he was always reading to seek more information. We had some very vocal in what he thought. you never had to wonder where he stood on subjects and that was why we could have such good discussions. When I stopped there selling fish he always asked if for some rancid chicken. He will be greatly missed. From Gary (the fish man). Or as Brian would say friend

So sorry to read this obituary this morning..whoever wrote the obituary did an awesome job..I laughed at a few things remembering some of the many stories Gary has told me over the years when he used to sell fish to Brian..
Just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss...it is never easy to lose a parent, grampy and husband...but I know you all will have lots of great memories to laugh about in years to come...
As my dear father always told me “ you are born to die” which certainly rings true as we all get older..
From Gary and Dot Mahar ( the fishman)..Sonora NS
