Berta, Sheri, Pat, Alyssa,Trent & family:
The very first thing that came to mind when we heard this terrible news that your Al had passed, was that he was sitting next to Don McCarthy… once again listening to his guitar playing and singing. Always will remember how much he enjoyed music… always joining in and singing. And that huge smile - always took the time to say ‘hello’ to us whenever we saw him at Costco. So enjoyed all those fabulous costumes Sheri made for him at Halloween.
Words, however kind cannot mend your heartache. Al was a great husband, Dad, Grandad, brother, friend to all that he met.
We know your lives will never be the same without him. He is going to be missed dearly that is for sure. He has left you with so many wonderful memories. A full and fun life.. well lived and celebrated.
Keep him close in your memories in the coming rough days and nights. He is forever in your hearts.
With much love and deep, deep sympathy,
Judy & Brian

I had the pleasure of working with Al for 5 years at Costco. He was a quiet, reserved guy. He always did my returns quickly and without hassle.
I always looked forward to Halloween, his costumes were top-tier. I loved the reactions of the members almost as much as he did.
Such an upstanding gentleman, surely he will be missed.

I always loved seeing AL. He said something when we worked together that I stole and have used ever since. " I work because I like to eat and have a roof over my head" I am so sorry for your loss.
