God bless the Gero Family.
I am so saddened by the passing of my dear Mickey, my dear sister and my dear friend. It was 8-10 years ago that we both were blessed with the wonderful gift of keeping in touch. I will always cherish the weekly telephone conversations, recalling our younger years - we laughed and cried tears of joy. I am so thankful. What a blessing. Mickey was wonderful, kind and loving. I will miss her very much - cherish the memories. I know Mickey has found her place in his heavenly kingdom.

Dear Gero family, sending you all our heart felt condolences on the passing of Mrs. Mickey Gero. Knowing Mickey from the age of a young child attending Second Baptist Church including Sunday School, she was always kind, caring, encouraging, and loving. Mrs. Gero had a way of making all of us young people feel special. My last memory of Mickey was her kind gesture of inviting my mom (Ruth) and I for Easter Dinner with her family several years ago when I visiting. It was a very special day and a small example of her love of others. Mrs. Gero will be missed dearly by all who knew her but she will never be forgotten. Sending your family lots of love. Rick, Marina and Borden family. God Bless.

My Dear Family:
First of all, Barb -- Thanks for making me call when I inquired about your Mom. We had some conversations after and I value those memories. Mom often spoke of the "Halifax Girls" in New Glasgow and your Mother was one. I truly appreciated her smiling greeting and always willing ways. Of course, I'm a kid to her -- She has always been in New Glasgow and in my life. I will miss her greatly. Rest assured, in time things will get easier. You all have some wonderful Precious Memories to treasure. Luv Ya All Lots,
Murleta

My deepest condolences to the Gero family. Mickey was a beautiful person. She was so nice, made you laugh and feel good. When I was a growing up, I was invited for Sunday dinner. I ate so many sweet gherkin pickles that she gave me the nickname “pickles” . Every time she saw me she would hug, kiss and say hello pickles. I loved that. She will certainly be missed.
