Gramma Guthro, affectionately know as G.G. (Great Grandma) by our two kiddos, was such a warm and loving woman. She welcomed me (Sam) into the family immediately as I started dating Jay. She and Papa Pete would come and visit me when I was working in the bakery at the newly opened Sobeys in Ottawa and it was a pleasure to see her warm smile and get a notorious 'gramma hug.' Her baking talents were willingly shared when I admitted to poor kitchen skills. She came to teach me how to make her famous tea biscuits, apple pies, and cinnamon buns. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives and I am so grateful for the times we had together.
