Kareen may be gone from our sight, but she lives in the hearts and memories fo those who loved her. My heartfelt thoughts go out to the family at this time of sorrow, I am thinking about you and sending strength and love to you all. I am grateful to have known Kareen in life and will continue to do so in her death, honouring her by keeping my door open and extra plates at the table.

To my Auntie Kareen, I am so grateful for having you and Uncle Jimmy as God Parents growing up. You taught me so much and was always there to put me in my place. I spent my first night home from the hospital with you and I would never change it. I never got to make the trip to come see you and I am regretting it. My heart is crushed that you are not on this planet anymore but that is just me being selfish. Because I know you are happy and enjoying every minute with your parents, siblings and your Jimmy. Sending my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kareen. We lived next door to the MacKay’s all my child hood life. It felted like they were an extension of our family. Kareena, was always so nice to my grandmother and my mom. I know Kareen will definitely be missed not only by her family but friends too.
My deepest sympathy to Art and all the family members. I had the pleasure of knowing Kareen by playing Darts at the New Glasgow Legion. A very lovely lady with a great sense of humour. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very sad time.

So shocked and saddened to hear of your mom's passing. I have lots of fond memories of my years knowing Kareen. DARTS...loved playing darts with her whether it be at the Tuesday Night Mixed Darts at the Legion or playing against her team in the Zones. We had so many laughs. Well now she can continue the sport up above; playing with Nancy and Tiny. Oh...I can hear them now. Rest in Peace my friend.
