We are just hearing of your mother, granmothers passing. She was such a lovely lady, and so kind. We did not see much of her in the last few years because of covid. We will miss her smile.

I'm very sad to hear of June's passing. She was an integral part of our childhood living next door. We played a lot on "blueberry hill" between our two houses. She could see us out her window and would join in. She was a true friend for our Mom who loved her regular visits. They would sit at the table drinking tea and discussing world problems, raising children, and supporting each other through the busy days. We fondly remember many stories and she will forever be a part of our growing up.
Sending my love and condolences to David, Laurie, George, Henry and their families.

For my dear sister and brothers, so sorry we can’t be home for Moms service to support you in this time of need.
My favorite memory of mom was her joy of swimming at Big Island. In speaking with her on the phone I would always say not too many ice burgs, she would laugh and say oh no it was beautiful.

So sad to hear about June's passing. She was always very kind and generous, and she and Harold were such a big part of the community. The old Thorburn Road will not be the same. Condolences to David, Laurie, George, Henry and the rest of the family.

So sorry to hear of your Mothers passing Laurie. When my mother was alive, she and your mother would always share stories of their families whenever there was a function at St.Ann’s that Mom came out to from town. Your mother was a special and compassionate lady. Sending condolences to you and all your family and wishing you peace and happy memories.
