To Joey, Julie and all Dorothy’s friends and family, I send sincere condolences from Mom and I. I loved every opportunity I had to talk with her, including how she and Mom and Mom’s sister Joyce used to dance the Highland Fling when they were kids! We talked about that often. She was one of the most energetic people I knew; I couldn’t even imagine trying to keep up with her! I will always remember how beautifully dressed she was, no matter where you met her. I taught with Dorothy for one year at Thorburn. You could always count on her to lift the spirits of the staff with the delivery of her amazing pies. I remember lamenting once about a crummy day and how a pie would be great. The next day Dorothy baked enough pies for the whole staff; what a delicious gesture! She was just so kind and generous. My thoughts go out to her family on their huge loss. I think I gained 10 pounds that year and enjoyed every flake of those pounds Gary Fraser
