I am sorry to hear that Gerard has passed away. I worked with him at the Granton facility in the late 1970's until I transferred to the Waterville plant in 1982. I very much enjoyed working along side him during those first few years with Michelin. I only started with Michelin in July of 1977. My condolences to the family. Conrad LeLièvre

Dear Phyllis, I am deeply saddened to hear of Gerard's passing. All who knew him knew what a wonderful human being he was and knew how dedicated he was to you, Wendy, Tracy and your grandchildren. He was the ultimate supporter of anything you did as well as a warm and loving best friend. Gerard always met you with that wonderful smile of his, a smile that showed his contentment of knowing how much he was loved by you and his children. I know you will miss him terribly and he will never be forgotten, and I hope the love and memories you shared will give you comfort. Sending much love to you, Tracy and Wendy

My deepest sympathy to Phyllis, Tracy, Wendy, and the family. He was such a gentleman. He dropped Tracy off at the mall, and would come back to pick her up everyday. He would always say hello at Tim Hortons.

When I first returned from Alberta with my 2 children Gerrard took my son Jason under his wing and with Gerrard's help Jason caught his first fish. Gerrard had a heart as big as his frame and I always knew that I could depend on Phyllis and Gerrard if ever I needed help of any kind. There was something comforting to know that they were always there for me. He will be missed. I am certain he will enjoy spending time with Bernard until his much- loved partner joins him.
Heaps of hugs and love to Wendy and Tracy.

Thinking of Gerard’s family at this sad time. Gerard was in the room next to my Dad in Palliative during his stay there a few years ago and also was our regular customer at the Superstore for years. Always stopped by the desk for a chat. Lovely man. Rest in peace Gerard.
