Kevin and I were so very sorry to hear of Harold's passing. Over the years when he and Kevin both worked at Sobeys, we had many laughs with Harold. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and a great laugh. He really was a great guy. Our sincere condolences to Grace and his family. He will be missed.

So sad to hear of Harold's passing. He was a great friend and I was one of the many who received a nickname that will continue on with so many other fun memories. Harold brought such joy and life to his friends and the community at large. He will be greatly missed.

To Grace and all the family so sorry to hear about Hump’s passing. I grew up with the Mills family in Priestville and when I came home for the summer I ran into Hump. He never changed a bit he was always smiling,telling jokes and always talking about our families growing up together. Everyone that knew him loved and respected Hump. He had a way of making a person feel better about themselves after talking to him. Everyone that knew him will miss him but he will live on in stories, memories and thoughts and in our hearts. My condolences to Grace and kids and especially to Sisters and brothers I will not be able to attend his funeral but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rest in peace my friend ❤️

My deepest sympathy to Harold's family. I knew him as Hump when we were teenagers. He loved being a tease which was sometimes annoying but it always ended with laughter. I am certain that everyone in his family has a story to tell about his teasing and it will surely bring you laughter.

I had the pleasure of meeting Hump 2 years ago when I started working at the century snooker club, where he would be found every Tuesday night with the fellas playing pool. He was always carrying on, joking with everyone at the table. Hump quickly became one of my favorite people. He tormented me, as well I dished it right back. Rather he was teasing me or I would be yelling out "four!" In the middle of his shot.
Tuesday nights won't be the same without him.
My condolences to the family. I know he will be missed dearly by many.

I was saddened when I heard of Hump's passing. Memories go back when he use to work in his Uncle Russell and Aunt Annie's store. Always joking and making you laugh. Sending my condolences to " Humps " family. Although I would see Hump sporadically over the years, it was always a pleasure to be in his company where laughter was usually part of the conversation.
Definitely a person you wanted to be around with his caring and humourous way. He will definitely be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing and spending time with. RIP Humper.

Grace and families, my most sincere condolences with notice of Hump’s passing. As I send this my mind goes back to growing up in Priestville, attending EPRHS and playing rugby, where I believe he was one of the first people to have nicknamed me “Rocket”. Hump, without knowing it lead the way for others to follow, in the most positive and challenging of ways. Although no longer with you in person, I am sure every time you hear one of his corny jokes, you will feel him standing there next to you and hear his cheeky laugh. Hump was a good man, in person and will always be a great memory for those of us who knew him. Rest in Peace Hump, you have earned it.

We were so saddened to receive the news of Harold’s passing. It became a time of reflection for me, so many years of funny stories starting at EPRH on through this fall.
