Sarah, I am so sorry to learn about your Dad's passing. Sorry for your loss! and I hope you find comfort in this difficult time.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to know your Dad but I am sure he was one of the kindest people on earth, and he raised a wonderful daughter.
I know you must be devastated, but I wanted you to know I'm here. I'm not going anywhere, and I'm available to help you whenever you need it.
Sending you thoughts and prayers during this difficult time - Leo

Carol, Cara, Sarah, Edward and Anne, deepest condolences on the passing of your Husband, Father and Brother. David and I were best friends throughout our childhood and teenage years. We were pretty much inseparable. Although we have lived in opposite ends of the Country for over 50 years our friendship has endured. I’ll never forget the many experiences we shared throughout our growing up years. David was such a loyal and true friend. I will never forget you old pal.

To Cara, Sarah, and your family,
My sincere condolences on the loss your father. I know from experience that losing a parent - at any age - is a miserable time made better only by the love and support of family and friends. May you find support and comfort from everyone close to you in this difficult time and in the days ahead.

Dave and I spent many shared supervision.
We pretty well had the world situation under control, but no one valued our opinion....alas!
I very much valued David's friendship during our teaching days at the Regional!!
He was a truly dedicated professional.
His love for Carole, and the girls would always bring a "twinkle" to his eye, as he spoke of them so fondly.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Treasure the memories...

Sad news of Dave's passing
.Condolences to Carol, Cara , Sarah and family .Dave was an awesome neighbour and friend.I can remember many times he would call and ask if Marlene was working at night and if she was he would go plow his driveway to make sure she got home off the transcanada because of snow drifts , even though he had to work next day ... And he also pro ided the land to build ramps in broadway .He always seemed to have anything you needed in his garage .I used to call him the Mayor of broadway cause he always knew what was going on..you are going to be missed my friend .

Carol,
I read about Dave’s passing in the Halifax Herald and wanted to send my condolences to you and your family.
I have fond memories of both you and Dave at Teachers College, you were a great couple ! I was taking Physical Education, but knew some of the fellas in Industrial Arts with Dave. Dave had a great sense of humour, an outgoing personality, a quick smile and laugh. Thank you for those memories.
With sincere sympathy
